The Job
Print magazine’s Digital Design Annual presents a juried selection of the best digital work in interactive, print, display, and other media. In 1998, Print's editors asked me to participate in the judging and write the copy for the issue.
The Solution
I interviewed over 100 different designers, writing short descriptions of each piece’s purpose and process. I also wrote four introductory essays (one for each medium) describing trends in the design of that category for the year.
